I rarely write Yelp reviews, I only write them if I have an experience that is either horrible or absolutely awesome. I buy new cars every 1-2 years so trust me, I know the difference between a good dealership and a sleazy, crappy dealership that is trying to rip me off. If you go to this dealership, ask for Eric Brooks. This guy is legit. Super nice guy. Straight forward and won't BS you or try to rip you off. If all dealerships had salesman like him, they would all have a good reputation. That was literally the easiest and best car buying experienced I have ever had.

Skip all the other dealers and visit Gudi at Putnam Toyota! We had visited another Toyota dealership but felt that we did not get the attention, time and candor of our salesperson, Gudi. He was very helpful in educating us of the changes to the Prius since we last owned a Prius (we had a 2004 Prius and then had to sell it when we were relocated out of the country) and things we could consider, in terms of size, gas mileage, maintenance etc. Because we were starting from scratch and needed insurance, he collected different insurance quotes for us, all while we were at the dealership! I felt that he went far and above any other salesperson we had ever met at a dealer, and never once was he pushy. His demeanor spoke volumes about what you can expect from Toyota: quality of product and service. I would most certainly return to Gudi again.

Walked in to just look at cars and walked out with a 2016 Prius 4. Our sales person never pushed never offered never even tried to sell us a car. He let us check cars out. Play around with them and test drive them. His name was Jamie an he was an amazing person. I'm not one for people but he was a nice person with an honest back ground. Normally I hate sales people because I've worked sales. But he did something right. We got a good deal and walked out happy. Will be going back here for services and if I ever trade or need a new car. Service dept brings this place down a bit. Second service dept I've dealt with on the bay. So the website says there open till 6pm but I can't bring my car in past 2. I can't take my car in. I work till 4. The part wasn't there when I first went when I said it was broken. I distinctly told them what part was broken so when I went it for my 5000 mile check up it would be ready. 2 and a half hours later car moon roof isn't fixed. Said they would have to order the part would call me on Monday to come in. They never called me. I called Thursday and got bounced around to different depts. Since they don't do late Apts and they don't drop off in redwood city. Can't take work off. They want me to come in on my day off to fix it. Super irritated. Was at 5 stars for sales Dropped two for service dept

I reached a point where I needed to upgrade to a larger car for my kids and their friends and all their gear. So, I walked in to to Putnam Toyota to look at the Sienna. Victor Contreras was so patient and knowledgeable and never pushy. We looked at a couple of other minivans (Honda and Chrysler) that same day but decided to go with the Sienna because of Victor. If you are looking for a car, check out Putnam Toyota and ask for Victor!

I just leased a 2016 Prius from Putnam Toyota and I had a great experience thanks to Abdul Asalati, probably the most pleasant car salesperson I have ever met. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and never pushy. Never made me feel pressured about anything during the whole process. Even when I asked to test drive another vehicle to make sure I got the right one, he patiently took me back and we went on another pleasant ride. My husband just bought a Sienna Ltd AWD for our family at Putnam Toyota and, as usual, the car buying experience was completely stress-free and easy. He worked with Eddy and Abdul and both salesmen were professional and helped us every step of the way. From handling our trade-in to linking our phones to the new Sienna to scheduling our first routine maintenance appointment they did everything with a smile on their face and a great sense of humor. We live in the East Bay and drive to Burlingame specifically to buy at Putnam. We have purchased three Toyotas at Putnam over the years and every time they have been nothing but honest, friendly, and fair. If we need another car anytime soon, we will be giving Eddy and Abdul a call.
