I reccived a suberb deal on my 2004 Used Volvo S60R from these folks. They worked closely with their company across the street with my questions and concerns with such an expensive used vehicle. Kino Chu and Kent Putnam (I belive the owner?) gave me excellent service. They have me enough financing options and everything was explained very clearly. I will be sending family and friends. If you go in make sure to ask for Kino the manager. Mention Yelp also, as I promised to give them a fair and honest review.

I had a good experience buying my Toyota Prius from Putnam. I had contacted them in advance, asking for a specific trim and color. They found me one right away, and I got it for exactly the fair price he quoted me. No extra weird charges that car dealers usually try to tack on. It was easy, and they were great at following up to make sure we were happy. And I am female, BTW--reading some of these other reviews, I guess it depends on who you deal with. Ask for Chris.

This is for the repair side of Putnam Toyota. I brought in my Scion for a standard maintainence visit and they were very friendly, personable, and quick to get the job done. They even washed my car for free after the visit. They also called me a week later to make sure everything was going well with my car. HOWEVER, this is ONLY for the maintainence/repair side. On the DEALERSHIP side, i had a very bad experience with the Scion guys here because they tried to get me to buy one of their less popular colors with all the accessories and crap I didnt want that ended up making the car like $10k more than it actually needed to be. And when I told them I wanted a no frill, no spoiler, white scion tc they were like "there are only two in the whole state of california." uh...really@f0.... " very doubtful. so I hopped over to the East Bay to Berkeley Toyota (ask for Dee) and they ordered exactly what I wanted, no bs, and it came in 2 weeks. So beware of the Putnam Toyota dealership, make sure to do your research, and if you can, get your car somewhere else and bring it back to Putnam for maintainence.

These guys are simply the BEST. Do not bother with any other Toyota dealerships - go straight to Putnam, do not pass go, do not collect $200. They got me into the exact car I wanted - color and all - for below invoice, and got me financed in short order. I bought a Corolla and they treated me like a high-end customer, and didn't give me any of that hinky, sleazy vibe so many single women experience when car shopping (and that I got from many other dealerships duing my purchasing process!). Phil the finance guy and Jack my salesguy were INCREDIBLE - I'm now a Putnam customer for life!
