Not only did Jeff Hershman (who sold me the car) provide the most competitive price quote compared to ELEVEN other Toyota dealerships in the area, but he was also professional, polite, and friendly. Car buying can sometimes feel like an adversarial process. But not at Putnam Toyota, and not with Jeff Hershman. They make the whole process a breeze! Jeff was awesome from the get-go; he was responsive, attentive, and handled the price negotiation in a respectful way. He makes you feel comfortable, like you are talking to a friend. That's a rarity in the car sales business. Like Jeff, Michael Dobres was also fantastic; he was patient, answered all my questions, and didn't try to sell me add-ons I didn't want or need. A big factor in my decision to go with Putnam was their excellent ratings on Yelp. I am happy to say their ratings are well deserved.

The last time the purchase experience was excellent. This time was excellent as well. Working with Eric Brooks was easy and the transaction process smooth. F&I manager Michael Dobres did an excellent job too and helped make sure the paperwork process went along as quickly as possible. What sets any business apart, in my mind, is what happens when something goes wrong. I discovered a small problem the morning after my purchase and contacted Eric. Eric was proactive and immediately brought it to the attention of the general manager, Andrey. This morning I brought the Sequoia to the service department and Andrey had already communicated with the service manager to replace the part and I was out faster than I could finish a cup of coffee. This kind of clear communication and proactive approach is what really sets the dealership far and above the others. They took what could have been an unpleasant situation and turned it into a raving review. I even received a personal follow e-mail from the general manager. This is the way I work, and this is the kind of business I like to do business with. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you're getting a new vehicle, give them a shot. We went to Putnam - just to look!! - and drove home a beautiful certified used Camry. Our salesman, CANDIDO was great. No pressure - pleasant test drive. Everybody at Putnam (Antoni, John E., and Candido) were helpful, professional & most importantly, listened to our concerns & answered our questions. The hubz and I decided it was time to enter our parental right of passage by trading in our Toyota Highlander for a 2017 Sienna - SWAGGER WAGON!! My husband emailed Toyota and it was Alex who promptly replied within a few minutes. My husband and Alex worked out the details. It was close to end of the day and Alex could have gone home but he waited for us. Did I mention the next day was the 4th of July?
