I come here regularly for maintenance services. Since I'm a commuter (who isn't in the Bay Area?) that means I'm here basically every 1.5-2 months. They get VERY busy and booked out. So plan to book your service at least 1 week in advance. Locale: conveniently located on auto row and close to freeway increasing ease of access. Space: they have a rather large waiting area with plenty of seating (maybe more cramped on weekends). There's corridor with desk space and 2 desktops and a single table in the general waiting area. There's also a kids area with some legos. The waiting area is sandwiched between the dealership show floor and service dept so you could feasibly see your vehicle being serviced. I enjoy the waiting area because it's clean and doesn't smell like an auto shop. Food and refreshments are also offered complimentary. The staff: generally very nice and very approachable. I haven't had a poor experience with staff yet. The service: I don't know much about cars but I just get basic maintenance and I'm pretty satisfied. I like that they give me and estimated wait time and they usually finish well within that time if not with time to spare. I have not used the shuttle service yet.
A big thanks to Candido Carmona. For helping me on my resent purchase, 2018 Camry, from this Toyota Dealership. My parents and I always bring our cars to this dealership for their maintenance services. We brought one of our cars to its regular check up when we saw this new Camry inside. I really loved the style, the color, and the interior inside that we went back the next day. That's when we meet Candido, and was a real great help for us. He really worked with us trying to get the best options for us until we came down to the best deal. So far I'm really in love with my new car, and I owe it all to Candido. Once again thanks.
Jeff H. showed us a Rav4 Hybrid and even though we ended up buying the car at another dealership mainly due to time constraints on our end, I would definitely recommend working with Jeff on buying a car based on my experience with him. I took my SUV in yesterday for a brake job and as always, they took great care of me and my car. This department always gets overlooked due to nobody really wanting to pay for repair services, routine or not. But I want to extend my gratitude, long overdue, to their team. Jesus and Matt took care of me yesterday, but on other occasions, it's been Wesley, Ryan, etc. and they've always been terrific with every scheduled and routine service and why I continue to use Putnam service to keep my car in top shape. But the true mark of service is how they treat everyone else when you're not looking, and they were very gracious, courteous, and warm to a full waiting room, specifically to an older lady by just listening to her. Top notch!
I had a wonderful experience here buying a 2017 Prius. Jeff Hershman was a very pleasant and relatable salesperson; his manner is just right...with a balance of his being relaxed, yet informative. He offered options I hadn't considered and made negotiating on my final decision a breeze--going with the price I wanted. I enjoyed his humor and his consideration of what was important to me, as well as of my smaller needs...like offering drinks and giving time for questions and reviewing car functionality (such as the audio and nav systems). Two thumbs up for Putnam, and especially Jeff.
