Would highly recommend Putnam Toyota of Burlingame. Ask for Lenny. Not only did he get us exactly what we wanted but he gave us the room we needed to make our purchasing decision with no pressure. He showed us the car, we drove it, he allowed us to go home and think about the offer, and promptly followed up with us to answer any questions. We had leather added to the SUV and it turned out perfect. To top it off he made sure that when we came to see the car a second time and when it was delivered with the leather that is was washed and waiting for us. Oh, and did I mention we also had a 2 year old in tow with us both times we were there (including doing all the paperwork) and he handled her with great patience. Great service by Kino and the financing guys as well. Keep up the good work, Putnam!
If you live in the Bay Area I would recommend Putnam Toyota of Burlingame. We purchased our 2010 Prius there and everything was very straight forward with no surprises (exactly as we had worked out through email). We had a great experience working with Andrey Kamenetsky and have already communicated with him directly that there will be no hidden "delivery fees" or anything of that nature when we take delivery of our new Prius PHV. After working with 6 other Bay Area Toyota dealers concerning out last two Prii purchases, I can definitely say that Andrey was above and beyond everyone else.

I come here for my oil changes and when my car needs to be serviced in any other way and the work that's done is always done very well and I never leave feeling unsatisfied - the folks here really do a great job with servicing your car! They are currently remodeling the place (as of late Aug. 2011) and I was told that it may take up to sometime in Nov. 2011 for the remodeling to be completed, but in the mean time, they will kindly direct you to the Scion part of the building, if you want to wait on the premises while your car is being serviced. Purchased my Scion tC from Putnam Toyota Scion back in the summer of 2007, and aside from unfortunately being rear-ended a couple of years ago while on 280, I have thankfully never had any problems with the car itself. Back when I was looking to purchase a new car, I sent some e-mails to three dealerships near where I live and I remember how I had only gotten a response to an e-mail of interest addressed to me right away, from Chris Reade at Putnam Toyota Scion, asking me to contact him as they have the particular model/color in stock that I was looking for and if I had any further questions. The other dealerships, on the other hand, took a while to respond back and when they did, they sent what seemed like a general e-mail that sounded rather impersonal. To me, this was a sure sign which car dealership I should decide to go visit. Chris Reade helped me out with the purchase of my Scion tC and he is absolutely THE BEST out there! I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me with the process of buying a new car! He was realistic when it came to the options I wanted to get on my car and would tell me when I wouldn't need a certain option and I was so thankful and appreciative that he was honest with me and also with taking the time to explain things very clearly and not making you feel rushed. Chris is definitely not pushy at all nor does he try to sell you additional accessories or stuff you don't really need. I felt very comfortable with the excellent service that he provided and he is nothing but pleasant to deal with! I will always remember that day I took my car out for a test drive with Chris and fell in love with it, as well as the day I drove out of the Putnam Toyota Scion dealership with my new car. . . such good memories:-) After about 4yrs, I saw Chris today and it was nice to be able to let him know how things were going since the last time we spoke: Thank you again for everything, Chris! I got pretty good service during my most recent purchase from them. Chris, the internet sales manager(?), gave me a reasonable good price and the color I want. For the model/color combination, the north CA only have one inventory left, he was willing to put effort to get it for me fast and without extra charge. When I got the car, he explained me everything in a detailed way, which let me get familiar with almost every button on my dashboard quickly. The good thing I found about putnam toyota is, they don't give you a feeling that, yes, you have to buy from me. But also, you feel you are well treated and get enough attention from them, which is tricky sometimes. Some dealers never got back to me after they knew the model I am looking for, since they may not have an inventory. Some dealers continue to give me emails without the information I am looking for. Comparing to them, I gave putnam 5 stars this time. Just a side note. According to the earthquake in Japan, the toyota price is up and inventory is low. Given this condition, I found it's hard to find a car you want easily and also it's hard to negotiate price from multiple dealers. I had a totally different feeling this time comparing to what I experienced in 2008 when I purchased my first lexus car. Maybe it's the timing, I am not sure.
when I need future service, they are my new Putnam Toyota Service...I didn't buy my car from them, this review is about their service. They checked me in very quickly, no waiting, only took 5 minutes... Way better and faster than past experiences at other dealerships. They called me by 11:30AM with my diagnosis and estimate. At that time, I was told that they had to order parts so they would need my truck an extra day, but they gave me a FREE rental car. Nice. When I picked up my truck the next day, I found out that they forgot to tell me that I needed a couple more things, but they took care of it and included it for free....so my out the door cost was still the same as what they quoted me. And they washed my truck. I will be returning to Putnam, they are my new mechanics!
