We needed to get a second car, and knew that we wanted a Highlander. I started my search online on a Friday night. By Saturday I had quotes from various dealers around the bay area. Jeff Hershman from Putnam was able to give us the best price for the configuration we wanted. Sunday there wasn't much movement as I wasn't able to get in touch with Jeff (I found out later that he's off on Sundays). On Monday morning I was able to talk to Jeff on the phone and verify that they still had the exact Highlander we wanted. After work we arranged to drive down for a test drive. Jeff was right there waiting for us as we pulled up. Once we were satisfied with the car we started with the paperwork. The original quote from Jeff was a fair price that I was expecting and that's what we ended up paying. Signing the paperwork was relatively fast and overal I was happy with the price and service we received. After the car was ours Jeff spent another 15 minutes with us for a quick tour of our new car. It's been a few weeks since we bought the car and we're very happy with the experience. Total time spent including paperwork and searching from home was about 3 hours, much less than I was expecting. Jeff has also checked in with us occasionally since we bought the car to see how we're doing and if we have any questions. It's nice to know that even after having bought the car he still wants to make sure we're happy with the purchase.

We recently purchased a new 2013 Prius with the outstanding support of Eric Brooks (sales) and Mike (financing). We highly recommend Putnam Toyota for their personal, honest, and patient customer service: - Personal. As first time buyers, we researched our vehicle and local dealers. Once we determined the car that we wanted, we emailed a handful of local dealers requesting price quotes. Eric Brooks at Putnam Toyota promptly contacted us with a personalized email; other dealerships replied with automated responses at best. As our email correspondence continued, it was clear that Eric cared about our specific desires for our vehicle, and he made it his priority to find exactly the car that we were searching for. - Honest. When the car that we wanted was not in stock at Putnam, Eric took the initiative to run a search of other local dealers. He discovered that no dealership in our region had the car that we wanted... So he tracked one down for us that was being built in Japan! Once he located the vehicle, he gave us an exact, fair price quote. There were no hidden costs and there was no pressure to spend more on add-ons. Since the car was not immediately available for purchase, we had to wait several weeks for the car to be ready. Eric kept us informed by sending us regular updates about the progress of the car and when it would be available for pick up. - Patient. When our car finally arrived, Eric went above and beyond to make sure that we could pick up our vehicle as soon as possible. We picked up our car in the evening, and Eric stayed well past closing hours to meet us and introduce us to our Prius. He sat in our new car with us, explained all of its features, and made sure that all of our questions were answered before driving off the lot. Mike in financing also deserves special recognition for walking us through our first car purchase step by step. His organization (our papers were already waiting for us when we walked into his office) and engaging conversation put us at ease through what could have otherwise been a very stressful process. We picked up our vehicle last week, and we have already received several follow up emails from Eric and Putnam Toyota checking to make sure that we are satisfied with our purchase. We highly recommend Putnam Toyota to anyone looking for genuine customer service. Thank you, Eric and Mike, for a fantastic first time buying experience.

Customer service at the service center is great! I've been coming for here regularly for 6 years and will continue to come here. I even recommend this to my friends. You can make your appointments online. Their waiting space was recently remodeled and is a lot bigger and nicer, even though I just drop off. They have a one way courtesy shuttle.

My wife and I had a great experience buying a Prius at Putnam. Victor took us on very friendly test drives of several models. The machine in the lobby makes decent lattes.

Just bought a used Prius from them. Our sales guy James was very helpful and pleasant to work with. He gave us a great deal on the car and offered to fix some scrapes on the front bumper free of charge.

I just bought a new minivan from Eric Brooks and he was one of the most attentive salespeople I have ever met. And coming from a sales background, I can certainly appreciate. I was negotiating on price with the dealership - comparing with two other Toyota locations - and Eric was informative, attentive and honest. He knew I was researching prices and not committed to buying at Putnam unless I knew I was receiving the best offer/service/etc. I had troubling experiences at other Toyota dealerships (SF and Marin, beware, BAIT n SWITCH), but Putnam, BG was great and supporting local business made me feel even better. We had Mike do our financing and he is a doll. I'm recruiting other people to buy at Putnam, Prius, Siennas, go go go! Thank you Putnam and special regards to Eric Brooks and Michael Musto.
