I just leased a new Prius from Putnam, and am so happy with my new car. My salesperson was Eric Brooks, and he was wonderful. He not only knew a lot about the cars we looked at, but was very helpful, friendly, and informative when it came to the leasing process. I came in not knowing much about leasing, and wasn't sure if that was for me vs buying, and he was able to help me come to an informed decision. He made the whole process very easy. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking to buy or lease any car from Putnam Toyota.

Update... Three weeks after my horrendous experience at Putnam Toyota, I received a message from Kent Putnam on Yelp. Kent reached out to me after hearing of my unfortunate experience. He apologized profusely and was quite sincere. In short, he asked if I had found a car yet, and would it be okay for someone at the same dealership to contact me. Here's the thing...I know Jeff Hershman messed up; they know Jeff Hershman messed up. But is one employee's bad attitude necessarily indicative of the whole business? I decided to take a chance and hope not. I was put in touch with Andrey Kamenetsky (sales manager). I wasn't looking to get a crazy deal based on my previous experience; a fair and honest one was all I was asking for. In fact, the same vehicle was still available and Andrey was happy to honor the initial price I had gone in originally expecting to pay. That evening, I am happy to say I was able to drive off their lot with a new Rav4. I will say that the latter part of my experience with Putnam Toyota was really great. Everyone I encountered was super nice. High marks to Eric Brooks (internet fleet manager) and Mike (finance manager) for their customer service and professionalism. However, I can't discount my initial experience. Jeff Hershman might only be one worker, but he still represents Putnam Toyota. And a business is only as good as its workers.

Brought my highlander in for service. The oil change light needed to get reset, and the place I did my oil change (not Toyota) didn't know how to do it. The guy quickly reset it for free without an appointment after popping in. I also had a tire pressure light on and told them I had already filled the air in the tires. He knew immediately that perhaps I had forgotten to fill the spare tire with air. They put air in all tires for free and drove it around. I asked the manager if I should pay and he said no. The other service man said thank you to me on my way out when it should be the other way around! Thank you! I think I'll be coming back here for service if I need it.

I've owned a number of Toyotas over the years, mostly Landcruisers. I was in the market for a 4Runner that could be turned into an expedition vehicle. Something that would be worthy of a trip to Alaska. After visiting 3 Toyota dealers that had no 4Runners I found Putnam to have 3. I met Abdul Asalati in sales and started describing what I was looking for. He took me out to the lot and showed me all of the 4Runners he had. Abdul was fantastic. Not just as a salesman that sold a truck but as a person who knows how to make a transaction like this smooth and pleasurable. The Trail Premium edition I drove off the lot isn't an easy model to find. I'm thankful to Abdul, Mike the paperwork guy and Putnam Toyota for putting new wheels under me.

This has been the smoothest car sales transaction I've ever dealt with. Eric Brooks was our salesman, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was looking to purchase. The vehicle had everything I wanted, and it was brand new! I felt everything was well explained and understandable. I left with a brand new Toyota sienna 2013 and I love my new car. This is the car I wanted before getting to the dealership, and Eric worked with me to make it happen.

Been here a few times for recalls and servicing. Friendly, helpful staff greet you. They have a computer for use and a large waiting room if you wait for you car service. Even though Melody Toyota is only a few blocks from me, I would definitely go here first!
