I bought my Toyota Prius Plug In from Jeff Hershman. This was the best car buying experience I ever had. He was very honest and gave me a great deal. He had great follow up and was not pushy. I bought my car from Putnam because of Jeff. Mike from finance was very knowledgeable and helped me through the paperwork with ease.

I waltzed in with my 2007 GTI at 12:30 pm and was driving out with a new 2013 Rav4 with everything I wanted - red, crossbars, and cargo mats (the XLE) three hours later. Got a f'in AWESOME trade-in value on my GTI and it was no hassle and a ton of fun. Thanks Eddie and Mike, you are the best.

Of course there will always be some wheeler dealer-ing, but it's one of the best experiences I've had so far. I had to buy a cheaper used car for an insurance replacement so I can still have some cash to pocket at the end of the day. There was no pressure from James the agent to not give a low-ball offer and I got the car for a good price. They even caravan'd with me since I forgot my checkbook at my house. And they even dropped off the car rental for me. I've dealt with 3 different dealerships before for 3 cars I've had. I would definitely recommend this dealership. They're way better than the arrogant agents at city toyota who discriminate against small sales.

This review is about our 2013 PRIUS V buying experience @Putnam Toyota. Last Thursday my FIRST car 2001 Toyota Camry was rear ended on my way to home on 101 north around 7 p.m. Fortunately I survived otherwise it would have been a very serious. Since we know our beloved Camry will be totaled soon my wife and I decided to go ahead and get serious with our next car and we're thinking about Prius but undecided ;-) So on Sunday evening around 5 p.m. we walked in to Putnam Toyota and at the door entrace we're greeted by a gentleman with a smiling face and his name is "ABDUL". Abdul is very helpful,insightful and extremely knowledgeable and patient with our questions. First he showed us Prius-C then he took us for a test drive of Prius that allowed me to drive the car. Then we test drove Prius V Wagon and we really liked it,given the extra space inside the car,leather seat,navigation,rear view camera, etc., So we instantly fell in love with Prius V and decided to buy it but the price was more than what we initially budgeted for :-( The good part was ABDUL never even a single time pressured us to buy a car,Instead he was instrumental and helpful in making our decisions like Price,Color,Options, etc., This where Adbul truly won our heart and business.He worked with the managment and given our budjet constrains he made sure we get BEST deal. Finally we agreed for the price and also took advantage of Toyota's 0% APR for 3 years. The finance guy, Michael,also was very pleasant to work with. Didn't push me to buy any extra warranty but we brought 75K maintenance package. Our prior experience was good with Toyota maintenance package so it was a no brainer for us. After washing and cleaning our car was delivered to us and we're the last customers of the day. The remaining staff was also helpful in expediting the formalities. So all in all we had a very GOOD Toyota buying experience and we're glad we choose Putnam Toyota. I would definitely recommend Putnam Toyota to anyone looking for a good deal on Toyotas. They have clean facilities,HUGE inventory and Friendly Staff. Refreshment area is also clean with clean cups and decent selection of FREE hot beverages machine and a vending machine which accepts credit cards and bills. This was our SECOND purchase from Putnam Toyota and Go see Abdul if you want a great deal on a PRIUS and other Toyotas.

My aunt bought a Toyota Corolla 2013 S edition here and the service was great! The price is also amazing and reasonable!

One of the best car purchase experiences I've ever had thanks to Jeff Hershman, Fleet & Internet Manager. He is a pleasant and no nonsense person. He took the time to find out exactly what I needed by communicating with me via email and phone. He replies and follows up very quickly. I didn't have to waste my time when I finally went into the dealer. I decided to buy my Prius from Putnam largely due to Jeff being up front with everything, including the price. After the transaction, he has superb follow up as he has checked in with me a few times to make sure everything is fine with my Prius. Jeff knows what customer service is all about. When I am ready for my next Toyota, I am calling Jeff Hershman.
