Eric Brooks is the man. I had several visits with him including many e-mails and he's very prompt to return any question I had. He never pressured me and never made me feel like an idiot. He gave me real pros and cons of every configuration and color for the 4Runner I was looking for. I highly recommend Eric to anyone who wants a great buying experience and the absolute best price. I visited several Toyota dealerships in the area including Capitol Toyota, Fremont, Sunnyvale and Stevens Creek. Putnam was hands down the best by leaps and bounds. Eric Brooks made my first buy a very pleasant experience! My whole negotiation experience was done through texts and emails. He was quick and concise with responses, and made the whole process painless. In person, he was very personable and not pushy whatsoever. He was also very detail-oriented, explaining the different features of my new car, making sure I was well informed. Before I drove my car off the lot, he also offered to schedule my first service for me. We also had some good laughs with Mike, the Finance manager. He made the paperwork process -dare I say- enjoyable. He, like Eric, also made sure I was well-informed. I ended up getting extended warranty. Both Eric and Mike stayed past closing time to make sure the whole process went smoothly, and not one moment did I feel rushed. Putnam Toyota is a rare find and really not like your ordinary dealership (no rip offs, no mind games). I'd gladly make my next purchase from them and recommend them to family and friends!

He was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and very responsive throughout the whole car buying process. He would call us to make sure we like the car. There was no haggling and he made it easy for us to get a new Toyota. Working with Jeff Hershman was a pleasure. He's truly a different kind of car salesman. My husband and I were going through some significant life changes on a very short time line...new baby, new jobs, needing to move asap, etc. We located the car we wanted at Putman (2015 Prius V, trim 5, adv tech package), knew what price we wanted to pay, and were not going to tolerate any BS. After a couple of brief phone calls and emails to work out details, my husband and I walked in the next day and walked/drove out 60 min later with the car we wanted at a good price.
