Labor Day weekend car shopping with the family, drove all the way to Putnam Toyota in Burlingame and met with Noli. He wasn't pushy or try to hard sale on the car I wanted, he got me a great rate and a monthly payment that's within my range. Thank you Putnam Toyota for the great car buying experience, I highly recommend you go see Noli @ Putnam Toyota in Burlingame.

I recently decided it was time we finally replaced my wife's car (yeah, right, my choice...) so I was doing my due diligence and contacting local dealerships. Jeff Hershman at Putnam Toyota was not only the most informative, the price he offered to start was the one everyone else said they could, at best, meet. At the 11th hour another dealership even came back to me and offered to go lower just to get the business but we still went with Jeff because where my wife and I wound up with him was exactly where he started, with the best offer and I cannot stress how much I appreciated that. It's been forever and a day since I bought a car and really thought it was about playing dealer off of dealer for a good price but not with Jeff at Putnam Toyota. And he stayed with us the whole way. Other dealerships we visited had the guy we first talked with show us the car and then when it came time to talk about anything numbers related they'd hand us off to someone else. Jeff and Putnam Toyota provided the car buying experience I really wanted but never imagined I could have. So much unwarranted anxiety! Now I just have to worry about the new car. It's so pretty.

This has to be one of the better car buying experiences I have had, compared to previous experiences with VW, BMW, MB, Acura and Nissan. After dealing with the car dealerships close to home, I found Eric the Internet Sales Manager to be very straightforward to deal with. He gave a very competitive price without haggling and there was no hassle. He even quoted the invoice cost, which not many dealers do. The finance experience was as good, with nothing being forced on us, and no pressure to buy anything. Michael (finance) was awesome to work with. Apart from Eric and Michael I found everyone else at the dealership to be very courteous and never once felt the whole "swarm em as they come in" experience. The experience here is on par with the German brands. Great dealership, I would come back here in a heartbeat to get another car.

Shopping for a car is not fun for me...normally dread the process every time. I have to say Jeff Hershman is a true professional in his business and makes the process almost fun. I rarely write reviews but this five star is deserving.

These folks are really great. I was looking for a Honda Element for a couple weeks and came across a trade-in (hence finding a Honda at a Toyota dealership). The car was incredibly good condition and low mileage at a price that was already on par with kbb given the carfax. Jeff Hershman helped me out and stayed in quite a bit later than anticipated to make sure everything was in order. I also enjoyed taking the jumping picture in front of my newly acquired vehicle.

I'm a shopper by nature. Odd for a guy to say, but its true. When I'm stressed out I stop by a car dealership and take a test drive...its therapeutic for me. So when I start to look for a new car, man do I get into it. Spreadsheets, analysis upon analysis, and then when I do decide on a vehicle then its time to start the deal making process. Since I'm in sales myself and love shopping, this is typically where I thrive. Anyways, to make a long story short...I did all of my analysis and then started beating up on dealers to drive the price as low as I could. Thats where I bumped into Eric Brooks at Putnam Toyota. Eric is the Internet Fleet Manager and had posted the car I wanted on Craigslist. To my surprise, he had posted almost the exact same deal that I had just spent a week beating up on other Toyota dealers to give me! So, I went in and saw him and to my delight he was super easy to talk to. Non pushy, very knowledgeable (hard to find in auto sales), and best of all I didn't have to negotiate with him as the prices he posts are quite literally the bottom price that you're going to get out of a Toyota dealership on a new car.
