I'm a shopper by nature. Odd for a guy to say, but its true. When I'm stressed out I stop by a car dealership and take a test drive...its therapeutic for me. So when I start to look for a new car, man do I get into it. Spreadsheets, analysis upon analysis, and then when I do decide on a vehicle then its time to start the deal making process. Since I'm in sales myself and love shopping, this is typically where I thrive. Anyways, to make a long story short...I did all of my analysis and then started beating up on dealers to drive the price as low as I could. Thats where I bumped into Eric Brooks at Putnam Toyota. Eric is the Internet Fleet Manager and had posted the car I wanted on Craigslist. To my surprise, he had posted almost the exact same deal that I had just spent a week beating up on other Toyota dealers to give me! So, I went in and saw him and to my delight he was super easy to talk to. Non pushy, very knowledgeable (hard to find in auto sales), and best of all I didn't have to negotiate with him as the prices he posts are quite literally the bottom price that you're going to get out of a Toyota dealership on a new car.
