I recently moved to the Bay Area and had the wonderful experience of buying my first car at Putnam Toyota with the help of Jeff Hershman, their Internet & Fleet Sales Manager. I had contacted the dealership through their website a couple of weeks before I got here and had received a warm and near immediate response from Jeff. I set up an appointment for a couple of days after I got here. I had initially figured I'd just take a look that day and come back for the car at a later date. However since Jeff offered me a very fair price right off the bat, and since I'm not really one for bargaining I went ahead and got it the same day. I was able to get financing via Toyota Financial Services (thanks to George Ferrier, the Finance and Insurance Manager) through their office and also went in for the extended protection that was offered to me, though I should also say there was no pressure to do so. One week in, and having since compared prices with friends and family, I'm very satisfied by what I got. If anyone is looking for a new car in the area, I would very much recommend Putnam Toyota and more specifically, Jeff Hershman.
