I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional customer service from Putnam Toyota. I bought a late-model but high mileage "as is" car from them a few months ago. The next day I noticed the tie rod noise which was confirmed by my local mechanic. The extended warranty I had bought with the purchase did not cover it because it was a pre-existing condition. I remembered that the standard "thank you for buying from us email" the owner, Kent Putnam, encouraged the buyer to call him directly if there were any concerns. I decided to take him up on that and to my surprise he himself answered. He took action quickly because that same day i got calls from his assistant and from the original sales person, Moe Mojadidi. They agreed to replace the problem part, though it took longer than i thought was needed and they installed a used part because they couldn't find a new one. But they eventually covered the six days of car rental. Mike Dobres, the business manager, was diligent in making that happen. I have been told that this is all highly unusual when purchasing an "as is" vehicle. I particularly want to applaud the professional attitude and helpfulness of Moe, not only in the sales process but in orchestrating the repair process as well. I highly recommend him, the owner and the business manager.
