My first time here so starting with 4 stars but I think this could go higher. Putnam Toyota is one of those auto dealerships that restores your faith in auto dealerships. I went in for some work on my Toyota and Matt was the guy I dealt with. He was professional, up-front, clear, honest and overall just a really nice person to deal with. Turns out that no work was needed and I was warned up front that there would be a charge to assess the issue. If it was covered under warranty I wouldn't have to pay for it. If not, or there was nothing to be done, I, of course would have to. Since the assessment turned up nothing I was expecting to pay for it but since it was my first time there they waived the fee. WOW! They totally just bought my ongoing business with them. Oh did I mention that the waiting area was clean, comfortable and stocked with an insane amount of pastries and other snacks? Oh and a hint for those that commute by train to the city (and therefore rarely use their cars) from the Peninsula. Drive your car to Putnam early in the morning to be looked at, pick up the CalTrain just 2 blocks away from the dealership and then train back at night, grab your car and go. Very convenient.
