This review is for Darren from the Sales Department. My dad and I have been shopping around for an SUV for about a month and have narrowed it down to the SUV that I want, including the model, trim, color, etc. Let me just say that I had a very very pleasant experience purchasing from Putnam Toyota. Darren is very friendly, knowledgeable about the vehicles, transparent, and most importantly, trustworthy. I know that because prior to meeting Darren, I have gone to many other Toyota car dealerships in the Bay Area shopping around for the best deal. I told Darren my specifics and during the price negotation, he was very transparent about prices and financing options. I know because I work in finance. I have gone to other dealerships, and boy they were about to charge me high MSRP AND high interest rates! One sales agent from Daly City Toyota would not even show me a price breakdown and would call me at work putting pressure on me to buy the SUV they have on inventory, saying "I'm afraid if you don't buy now, it will sell because that trim/color is extremely popular." Don't fall for these traps. Go see Darren at Putnam Toyota and you'll have a very pleasant experience. I went back to Putnam Toyota 2 weeks after I purchased my SUV to pick up something and Darren was like, "please call me if you have any questions, or stop by if you are around." He even explained the high-tech functions of the SUV and helped me set the system. Darren is the best! Highly recommended sales agent! Thank you so much Darren, for going above and beyond. You have shown us an outstanding customer service. My entire family will be purchasing from you and Putnam Toyota from now on!
