So I'm back... Obviously I love my Prius, so much that when Edie Asbury called to tell me that my 4 year old model was in demand I was a little interested in getting the new model but not really motivated to trade in. Here's the thing... I'm in sales so I drive A LOT. 30K/year a lot, so I've been through my share of car dealers and sales experiences with them. I couldn't tell you their names, some were schwarmy, some were okay & got the job done but never really memorable or worthy of a yelp review. Until I met Edie. Honestly, I feel like I made a new friend. She's not only incredibly knowledgable, but she got an A plus in follow-up and ability to make what I needed happen. Totally professional but also personable. She listened to me (shocker), gave me options that were realistic and creative, she related to me and she gave me insight into my car that I hadn't known even in the 4 years I had been driving it. Bottom line, she cared. Needless to say, I am HAPPILY driving my brand new exact same color, model and PRICE'd Prius. This time with a beautifully extended warranty and peace of mind. For the first time in my car buying experience part of my negotiating was making sure SHE got the commission for the sale. I guess that says it all. Putnam has a gem with Edie, Seriously ask for her if you are at Putnam BG.. I know I will when I get my next one!!
